After drawing away to the 2nd placed team on Monday, we then faced an equally difficult test as we travelled to Holon to take on the league leaders, Hapoel Tzafririm.

With a number of injuries sustained in the midweek game, Ilan Flax was handed his first start of the season, while the likes of Andy Gabay, Aron Soloducho and Oded Puzis also returned to the starting lineup.
Playing in the Holon stadium with its grass pitch, it took us some time to feel our way into the game against a team that has only lost one game the entire season, which occurred against the same team we drew with on Monday.

Holon had more of the ball and forced Leo Gewertz into one good save in particular but we were not short of chances ourselves with Vlad Kart and Ilan Flax both missing good attempts on goal.
In the second half, we retreated slightly, soaking up the pressure and defending bravely, hitting our opponents on the counter attack. Vlad and Oded should have each found the net, which could have secured an incredible away win.
In the closing stages of the game, Leo made another couple of good saves while our defence was impregnable, refusing to give up on an important clean sheet and point away from home.
The draw means we remain just 6 points off the top of the table.
