Our A team continues to show good form after another big win, this time against local rivals Beitar Yafo, whom we beat by a single goal in the 1-0 win earlier this season. This time around though, we were far more ruthless and at no point did we seem under threat to drop points.

It took us just 15 minutes to break down the Yafo defence, Ilan Flax delivering a beautiful cross from the left, which was met by Evyatar Erez who delicately volleyed it in the opposite corner with the inside of his foot.

Ironically, Evyatar had already missed a penalty before he scored the game's opener, but he made up for it by getting a second goal thanks to a pass from assisting king Yuval Levi. We were 3-0 up by half time, Ilan scoring a rocket with his left following a pass from Ron Sharifi.

David Martane made a few changes at half time but that didn't stop the onslaught. Faris Abdulrasul got his first two goals of the season, with Evyatar assisting the first, which sandwiched a rare shot on goal from Yafo that managed to beat Leo Gewertz in the Inter goal.

Despite losing the clean sheet, our boys didn't let up and continued to rain down on the Yafo goal. Vlad Kart, who had come on from the bench, was next to find the net after being found open in the box by Faris. Vlad's twin, Evgeny, was on hand to find Ariel Peretz, who grabbed his first of the season and celebrated by announcing a new baby on the way.

Azanao Aristo was next to add his name to the scoresheet after he dispossessed a Yafo defender before going all the way to smash the ball into the roof of the net and in the final minute, Vlad completed his brace, after both Yuval and Jaime Kauffman had been denied by the keeper.

A good win but nothing to get too carried away with ahead of next weekend's crucial match at home to Shikma Hen, the winner of which will be in pole position to finished 2nd and qualify for the promotion playoffs.
